Fresno State recorded eight sacks in its season-opening 28-14 college football victory over Cincinnati on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Fresno, Calif.
Defensive tackle Logan Harrell had four sacks, and defensive end Chris Carter added three as the Bulldogs halted Cincinnati's 18-game regular-season winning streak.
A highlight for Fresno came in the fourth quarter, when linebacker Travis Brown, Harrell and Carter sacked Zach Collaros on three successive plays to snuff out a key Bearcats drive.
