Students who attend the best schools can carry a high level of prestige that provides an avenue toward opportunities that many students do not know exist. The biggest companies actively recruit out of top tier schools such as Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, often leaving students from well-known schools such as Niagara, Rutgers, and Hofstra in the cold.
